Renee gave Joel a Roman-themed murdery mystery dinner party game for his birthday, and every element of the dinner contained alcohol and/or large amounts of fennel. Here we see Renee and Joel checking to see that the alcohol had been cooked out of the wine/fennel glaze for the beans.
